ok this idea for a pve only skill came to me when i was thinking about my other shadow stepping skill.

Shadow rift*elite*
5E 3 second cast time, 10 second recharge
Target ally and all nearby allies shadow step to you. this spell has double the normal range.

so tell me what you think

I could see this being used as a griefing skill.... imagine... aggro is established, warriors are tanking, casters are nuking.... sin feels bitter, uses this and screws up everything... mobs rush monks, party dies...

his can be a real party saver, the sin stands outside the battle field and when the team is takeing it hard this skill can be used for a quick and effective retreat

Would be better for the monks, they stand back and when things are going bad they teleport everyone out
Though it could be abused to much, probably shouldn't be put into game, to risky in my opinion

I don't think this skill would be used often since it's an elite and most people would rather have elites that benefits themselves.
But too bad you said PvE skill only.
Think of this in GvG.
Assassin gets past the wall tot he Archer.

.... A few things come to mind.

#1. As Helcaraxe suggested: "griefing" skill... Might not bother AI allies so much, but I can't imagine ANYONE will appreciate being bamfed against their will and without warning.
#2. Try something like this when there are Ice Imps or Hydras about... and you will officially become the most unpopular person in the entire party. The skill just screams "Nuke me!".

I think it's a good idea but the thing is it only teleports allies nearby to target ally, that's a very small area so you'd probably only get one ally (unless they all huddled together first), and only getting one ally to you for 15e and 3s with a 60 recharge and it's an elite. I just don't see it getting much use

I think it should be target ally and all allies within earshot of target all, or you could just lower the energy cast or recharge...

well this is really for getting out of an aera quick and its a sin skill cause sins = shadow step, also if you are woried about griefing you need to pve with other people..... ove is not random so really you choose wrong person to group with... also i think i will reduce the recharge time a bit.

also about the comment that no one likes being moved you obviously TALK OVER WHEN TO USE THIS..... its not like the person will jsut randomly use this.... if they do once again get a new party >.<
